Student 4563 - Shashank's office hours are very helpful and made me understand the class materials a lot better. I would not be able to get so much out of the class had it not been Shashank.

Student 16195 - Helpful during OH, appreciated his explanation of autoencoders

Student 23308 - A Piazza beast! Thanks for spending so much time answering questions.

Student 43560 - Not very understandable

Student 24279 - As a novice to the field, sometimes I just needed basic answers to my foundational questions. Answering them by asking me more theoretical questions was not helpful. He had good intent by trying to get me to the answer myself, but this is sometimes not effective for people that just need basic help and explanations.

Student 30542 - AMAZING. Should be a professor himself. He knows what he is talking about and basically reteaches the concepts form class during OH. You can tell that he knows his stuff. Not only is he knowledgeable but he really knows how to break it down for students. He is one of the reasons I did not drop the class. Would highly recommend for an award or something.

Student 41872 - better timing during recitations

Student 39529 - When I went to Shashank's office hours, he explained concepts from start to finish, like a mini-lecture, helping people to understand concepts needed for the problem set. He is an excellent and clear instructor, bridging the gap between what we learned in class and what we needed to understand in order to apply the concepts.
